iPhoto Library Locked!

Was firing up iPhoto today when it hung up on me. Closed the application and restarted only to be greeted with "The iPhoto Library is locked, on a locked disk, or you do not have permission to make changes to it." Clicking okay shuts down iPhoto. A quick browse on Google suggested starting iPhoto with the Command and Option keys held down. This should have started the Photo Library First Aid tool to repair the library permissions. It did not work. Holding down the Option key while starting iPhoto brought up the option to start iPhoto with a different iPhoto Library. But this didn't solve the problem.

After more Googling, I came across this page: http://forums.macrumors.com/archive/index.php/t-112726.html. The trick that worked for me was to delete the iPhotoLock.data file. To do this, right-click on the iPhoto Library and select "Show Package Contents" from the menu. Move iPhotoLock.data to the Trash. My iPhoto Library was located on a Time Capsule.
